cAN YOU LEND A HELPING HAND?

YOUNG, SEASONED OR IN-BETWEEN: YOUR CHURCH NEEDS YOU!

The Ministry Planning Team is looking for congregants with basic handyman skills who are willing to volunteer to help their fellow church members who need assistance in their homes with simple tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing smoke alarm batteries, etc.  Not everyone is comfortable climbing ladders and these simple household tasks might go undone unless you step up to be a hero to someone.

Please contact Betty Sullivan at 210 326-5266 if you have a simple need for assistance or if you are willing to spare a few minutes to help someone with a small chore around their home. I would love to pair up a volunteer with
someone in need.

ARE YOU TECH SAVVY OR CYBER CHALLENGED?

If you’re young or older, worked in the information technology field or just have lots of computer experience, you have specialized skills you could use to help members of your church family.  The Ministry Planning Team (MPT) is wanting to create a team of tech savvy people who would be willing to give some of their free time by volunteering to answer questions and help some of our cyber challenged senior church members work through some small problems.

Types of things you could assist with might be setting up computers, addressing problems regarding connecting printers and video cameras, debugging internet and social media issues, assisting with email problems, downloading apps to cellphones, etc.

If this is a ministry you are interested in supporting, or just want more information, contact Betty Sullivan at 210 326-5266 or find her after the 9 am Sunday worship services in the Gathering Place.
