Thank you to the Windcrest UMC Foundation Board for funding the new grass and beautification project in the courtyard area. As you may remember, we had a major plumbing issue and the sewer pipes had to be dug out and completely replaced. Because of that, the grass in the entire area was dug out as well. The grant issued paid for the leveling and sod for the area outside of the Sanctuary and the larger courtyard. The grass is beautiful and will be a great place for our church to host outdoor events. Again, thank you so much to the Foundation Board for all of your support!

Windcrest Day School and CDC has established an age-appropriate curriculum framework, inclusive of all developmental domains, based upon NAEYC standards and criteria, TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) and norm-referenced developmental expectations. This framework allows program cohesiveness and planning focus, while maintaining the flexibility necessary to adapt the curriculum when meeting individual children's needs and to respond to family values, beliefs, and home language. We believe children learn at their own individual pace through the natural process of play. It is our responsibility to give children the foundation on which to build their education.
