Windcrest Day School and CDC has established an age-appropriate curriculum framework, inclusive of all developmental domains, based upon NAEYC standards and criteria, TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) and norm-referenced developmental expectations. This framework allows program cohesiveness and planning focus, while maintaining the flexibility necessary to adapt the curriculum when meeting individual children's needs and to respond to family values, beliefs, and home language. We believe children learn at their own individual pace through the natural process of play. It is our responsibility to give children the foundation on which to build their education.

School Ready Program
We exist to be a place where families feel welcome; where children grow spiritually, emotionally and intellectually; and where God’s presence can be felt.
We accept children 2 months (after the first immunizations) through five years of age. Enrollment is limited to ensure a low staff/child ratio. We are open to all faiths, abilities and ethnic backgrounds. Registration fees are due upon registration and are non-refundable. The placement of children in individual classrooms is based on the following: age as of Sept. 1., appropriateness of a class based on developmental and readiness factors, number of days enrolled and/or schedule desired and days available. Before admission, a registration form with fee must be submitted. Enrollment packets are available at the time of registration.
