WUMC Youth Ministry

The middle and high school years are vital in training students to be disciples of Jesus. Statistically, 60% of people leave the church after high school. This means that traditionally the church hasn't done a good job of communicating the Gospel to teens and creating a legacy of disciples that is multi generational. WUMC Youth Ministry is focused on helping parents equip young people between 7th through 12th grades to be disciples of Jesus by clearly communication the Gospel, creating an environment of worship, and connecting teens to the community within Windcrest UMC. SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sundays @ 10:05 am - 10:55 am

Middle School(6th-8th) in room 105
High School (9th - 12th) in room 105


The purpose of the Youth Sunday School is for the students to grow in the knowledge of God while applying truths from the Bible to everyday life.

Sundays at 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Youth Room




mISSION TRIPS, RETREATS AND SERVICE PROJECTS

We want every student to experience what it is like to serve like Jesus did. Mission trips and service projects are great ways to connect teenagers to God, each other and communities. Retreats offer opportunities for passionate worship, relevant Bible studies/discussions and a really fun, fellowship getaway!!




CONFIRMATION CLASSES

Confirmation is offered each year for students in 6th-12th grade. We use a United Methodist approved curriculum. It is the choice of the student to take the class and be confirmed. More information is available by contacting the church office.



OTHER FUN YOUTH STUFF

Throughout the year, we gather for fun & fellowship. The purpose? Basically just relationship building. We have fun hanging out with our friends!
